Beginning of administrative procedure of antidumping investigation into footwear originated from China

We inform all of our customers that the Ministry of Economy in its today´s DOF newsletter April 26, 2024, officially declared the beginning of administrative procedure of antidumping investigation into imports of footwear from China.

The Ministry of Economy has evidences of a possible unfair practice related to imports of Chinese footwear and has received various information about a considerable increase of imports of footwear from Asia, the main supplier is China, which has been published by various local and national medias.

The footwear that would be affected by this investigation falls to the duty sections of the TIGIE and the Commercial Identification Number (NICO) 6402.91.06 NICO 01, 02, 03 and 91, 6402.99.19 NICO 01, 02, 03, 04, 91, 92 and 93, 6402.99.20 NICO 01, 02, 02 and 03, 6404.11.17 NICO 01 and 02, 6404.19.02 NICO 00, 6404.19.08 NICO 01 and 02, and 6404.19.99 NICO 01, 02, 03, 07, 08 09 and 10. If the national industrial is harmed, it will be able to apply the definitive compensatory duties, which can be imposed on the products that have been declared as consumption up to 90 days before the application date of the provisional measures that are determined if aplicable.
